2024 GMC Terrain

Overview

The 2024 GMC Terrain fits a lot of surprises in a compact package. It’s a great fit for someone who wants GMC luxury and reliability without having to commit to a full-sized pickup truck or SUV. You’ll never feel cramped in the spacious cabin, even when hauling around the entire family. Fuel efficiency makes this an affordable choice for commuting and road trips. As the name suggests, the GMC Terrain easily goes off the pavement and through any gravel, mud, or snow you want to explore. Yet it's easy to switch back into front-wheel drive to save gas as well.

Who's It For?

Busy families who want luxury without the unnecessary fluff when they need to get to work or school. The GMC Terrain has the reliability to keep you on the road for years without a lot of maintenance. The easy-to-use infotainment system offers all your favorite features at your fingertips. While the exterior looks rugged and encourages you to dream up new outdoor adventures, you’ll feel comfortable in the luxe interior.

Stop choosing between fun and practicality when you can have both with the 2024 GMC Terrain. It’s also a good choice for new drivers thanks to a suite of driver assistance features that encourage teens and young adults to keep their focus on the road. Almost anyone can enjoy getting behind the well of this space-saving compact SUV.

Real World Performance

The 1.5-liter engine with four cylinders produces 175 horsepower, which isn’t overwhelming but provides plenty of pickup for the small frame. All-wheel drive is a good upgrade for this model even if you don’t plan to do any off-road exploration. The vehicle will stay in the last mode you use, allowing you to hop in and take off without worrying about wasting fuel. The 0-60 time is around 9 seconds, which maximizes efficiency, while still being respectable. Many compact SUVs sacrifice interior style for exterior athleticism, but the Terrain keeps plenty of focus on plush details.
